How to lock a folder without having to install additional programs

Follow these simple steps:

1. For example, create a folder where you want, and name it “Test”
2. Go to Start / All Programs / acessories and select Notepad
Copy and paste the following command on Notebook

ren Test Test.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

Save the file as lockfolder.bat (or whatever you want always leaving the extension `. BAT) by choosing Save As: All Files

ren Test.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} Test
3. Now we open a new notepad
Copy / paste the following command this time

ren Test {21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} Test

Save it unlockfolder.bat, following the procedure above

4. Now you have 2 files of type. BAT, double-click the folder you created earlier lockfolder.bat (Test) will be locked, so if you try to open it you will be redirected to the Control Panel

5. If you want to re-open the folder just double click on another file `. BAT, the file unlock.bat
